15.01.25 We thought the first London show of 2025 would be at The Prince of Greenwich in early February, but we now have an additional booking at Blythe Hill Tavern, Catford on Thursday 30th January at 8.30pm. The Telegraph publication have just awarded Blythe Hill Tavern with the accolade of being the capital’s joint best pub and Richard’s show will be part of the celebrations of this award. Entrance is free and we recommend you arrive early as this show will be busy.
This Sunday 19th January is the first date of a monthly residency at Lewes Road Inn, Brighton which will feature a different guest each month and we are delighted that Pat Rowles will be making a rare live performance at the first one with his poignant, hook-laden songs.
06.01.25 Happy New Year to you all. Went in to the studio yesterday to start working on the new album. January also brings three shows, we are looking forward to, on successive Sundays all outside of London.
A trip to the Three Lions in Farncombe, Surrey this Sunday 12th, the first date of a monthly residency at Lewes Road Inn, Brighton on the 19th (with the excellent Pat Rowles as guest) and a visit to Bexhill-on-Sea on the 26th to perform at Sunday Sounds at the Brickmakers micropub which is hosted by Tom Cole who will also be playing two solo sets.
The next London show is at 2pm on Sunday 9th February at one of capital’s most impressive pub venues, The Prince of Greenwich renowned for its unique decor and delicious Italian cuisine.
